In the ever-changing world of education, the European Innovative Teaching Award aims to value the work of teachers and educators in the process of shaping the Europeans of tomorrow by making use of innovative, interactive, and inclusive teaching and learning practices.
The 2025 edition is a special one: we celebrate our 5th anniversary! This year theme is Citizenship Education - participation in democratic life, common values and civic engagement.
In addition to that, this year two new categories have been added to the Award: the European Language Label and Adult education. The European Language Label encourages the development of new methodologies and initiatives in the field of language learning and teaching across all educational sectors. Educators and organisations in the field of adult education who have implemented outstanding Erasmus+ projects are also eligible for recognition.

This experience changed the way I teach. I am now more open to new methods, digital tools, and cooperation. Working with colleagues from other countries inspired me to use languages more actively and try multilingual activities in my classroom.

Participating in this program transformed the way I teach as I became more creative. It opened new horizons for me and my students and showed us the power of cooperation, integration and European solidarity.

This project made sustainability and citizenship not just subjects—but shared responsibilities. An empowering journey to growth, awareness, and active engagement.
