The 2025 Award Ceremony
The European Innovative Teaching Award is not only a moment of recognition but also a celebration of a well-established initiative that continues to inspire progress in education across Europe. It offers an opportunity to honour the schools and educators who are shaping the future of teaching and learning. The event also brings participants together to exchange ideas, successful practices, and opportunities for collaboration that strengthen Europe’s educational community.
This year, the ceremony will take place from Monday, 8 December 2025, 17:30 to Tuesday, 9 December 2025, 16:15 (CET). During the event, award recipients will be welcomed on stage and presented with their trophies. The programme will open with an address by Pia Ahrenkilde Hansen, Director-General of DG Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC), followed by a keynote speech from European Commission Executive Vice-President Roxana Mînzatu, who will also present this year’s awards.
