Methodologies used
We aim for these mobility programmes to contribute to skill development, with the goal of increasing the employability and active engagement in society of 26 of our students who are considered to have fewer opportunities. To achieve this, we will provide them with real-world experience in leading European organisations, enabling them to put their learning into practice and acquire skills essential for future employment - such as taking responsibility for professional tasks, building self-confidence, problem-solving, research, analysis, and project management. This experience will also strengthen their CVs and expand their professional networks while they live and work in another country.
Innovation environment
Participants in the project learned to adapt to new environments, navigate different realities, and overcome difficulties and challenges while fostering initiative and developing social and intercultural skills, critical thinking, and environmental responsibility. The project promoted green principles and civic activism by applying the Youth Participation Strategy framework to encourage engagement in democratic life. The experience also stimulated the participants entrepreneurial spirit and motivation to take part in future education or training projects at both national and international levels, while enabling them to practise two additional languages beyond their native tongue - English and either German or Italian.
Teachers’ role
Teachers and educators involved in Erasmus projects play a key role in driving innovation in teaching and learning. They introduce new pedagogical approaches, integrate digital tools, and promote intercultural exchange. Through collaboration with international colleagues, they design and implement creative methodologies that enhance student engagement and inclusion. Their active participation fosters reflective practice, supports continuous professional development, and facilitates the dissemination of best practices across educational settings.
Impact and output
The project improves the school’s curriculum, teaching, and social activities by integrating digital transformation into the school system.
Through this initiative, we aim to enhance teaching quality, identify and address weaknesses in our system, and enrich the educational experience by adding social activities that reinforce European identity and environmental responsibility. The project also includes defining a plan to integrate digital tools and online work-based courses, making education more accessible and supporting the principles of lifelong learning in our region. In doing so, it ensures that we can continue to provide high-quality education, even in challenging circumstances such as the COVID-19 pandemic.
