Summary
The project aligns with the objectives and priorities of the action and is highly relevant, as it addresses priorities such as the development of key competences; “supporting teachers, school leaders and other teaching professions”, “environment, climate and sustainability”, and “participation in democratic life”. The profile, experience, and activities of the two participating organisations are highly relevant to the project’s field, as they complement each other, given that one organisation has experience in the project's intervention area and the other has experience in carrying out educational actions in the school community. The project is considered to have high added value at the European level, as its transnational dimension was essential to achieving its results.
"The project aimed to effectively integrate CANAS into the educational project, involving the entire school community. European funding enabled open-air classes and extracurricular activities, training for teachers and non-teaching staff, lectures and workshops.”

Methodologies used
The project implemented multidisciplinary approaches adapted to nature-based teaching and learning, supporting the development of key competences through practical and experiential activities. It promoted inclusion, participation and cooperation, gave learners an active role in the learning process and strengthened cooperation with external stakeholders.
Innovation environment
The organisation acted as an enabler of innovation by creating the conditions for new teaching and learning approaches to be developed and implemented. A whole-organisation approach engaged staff and learners across the institution, while cross-sectoral cooperation with external stakeholders enriched the learning environment and supported the project’s wider impact.
Teachers’ role
Teachers acted as innovators by designing and implementing new approaches adapted to learners’ needs. They fostered wellbeing by creating supportive, inclusive and motivating learning environments. Cooperation and peer learning enabled teachers to exchange experiences, reflect on their practice and continuously improve teaching and learning.
Impact and output
The project had a direct impact on its target groups by strengthening their competences, participation and engagement in learning. Its results also generated a wider spill-over effect, benefiting other students, teachers, trainers, organisations, parents and local communities through the sharing of activities, resources and good practice.
